About Me

I’m Ingrid, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Perinatal Mental Health Certified specialist with a deep passion for supporting people through life’s most intense and meaningful transitions—especially around pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.

I know from both personal and professional experience how these times can be both beautiful and incredibly challenging. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, clarity, and care. I truly value connecting with people, listening to their stories, and witnessing their journeys of healing and growth.

My approach is trauma-informed, and I’m trained in EMDR therapy, which allows me to help clients gently process difficult experiences and move toward healing. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed by change, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly seen and supported.

Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals and families facing high-risk pregnancies, traumatic births, NICU stays, and other complex experiences. These moments have deepened my commitment to honoring each person’s unique story and inner strength.

Outside of therapy, I’m a parent myself, so I know how layered and demanding these early seasons of life can be. I find balance by spending time with my family and our very vocal husky, Wolfy. Getting outside helps me recharge, especially being near water or up in the mountains, which is one of the things I love most about living in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Lately, I’ve been learning to mountain bike and taking classes in American Sign Language, both humbling, slightly awkward, and surprisingly fun ways to stretch and grow. These kinds of experiences remind me what it’s like to be a beginner, to feel unsure, and to keep showing up anyway, something I carry with me in the therapy room too.

Therapy is a brave step, and I’m here to meet you where you are—whether this is your first time seeking support or part of a journey you’ve already begun. Together, we’ll explore your challenges and strengths in a way that’s collaborative, grounded, and focused on what matters most to you.
