Working Together

  • I offer online (Telehealth) individual therapy for adults throughout California, and in person sessions in Auburn, California. My fee is $175 per 50-minute hour session.

I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

    Insurance

I do not accept insurance but can provide a monthly Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement rates vary, so it's important to check with your insurance provider in advance.

Helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:

    • Do I have mental health or behavioral health benefits?

    • Does my plan include out-of-network coverage for therapy? If so, what percentage is reimbursed?

    • How many sessions are covered each year?

    • What is my deductible, and has it been met?

  • No Surprise Act - Good Faith Estimate

If you don’t have insurance or aren’t using your insurance for therapy, I’m required by law to give you a Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) that shows the expected cost of your care.

If your bill ever comes in $400 or more than the estimate, you have the right to challenge the charge.

  • I use a variety of therapy approaches tailored to your unique needs and goals. Our work together is flexible and collaborative, focused on what feels most supportive for you. Some of the approaches I incorporate include:

    • Humanistic/Existential Therapy: Exploring meaning, values, and personal growth.

    • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A powerful method to heal from trauma and distressing memories.

    • Attachment-Based Therapy: Understanding how early relationships impact your current connections.

    • Family Systems Therapy: Looking at family dynamics and how they influence your well-being.

    • Psychodynamic Therapy: Exploring patterns from your past to better understand present challenges.

    • Internal Family Systems (IFS): A gentle, evidence-based approach that helps you understand and heal your inner parts by connecting with your core Self.

    • Motivational Interviewing: Supporting your motivation and readiness for change.

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Practical strategies to change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors.

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Learning to accept your experiences while committing to what matters most to you.

  • A big part of what makes therapy helpful is the relationship you have with your therapist—feeling safe, supported, and really understood can be just as healing as the work itself. My goal is to ensure you feel supported and that my approach is a good fit for your needs.

We’ll begin with a brief phone call to discuss what you’re looking for, fees, scheduling, and any questions you have.

Prior to your first session, you’ll receive intake forms to complete and return. These forms help me understand your background, current concerns, and goals so we can make the most of our time together from the very first session.

In our first session, we’ll go over paperwork, explore what’s bringing you in, and begin setting goals together, while also checking in to see if working together feels like the right match for both of us. Sometimes, the best way I can support you is by connecting you with other trusted therapists who might be a better match for your needs.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step—I'll guide you through the process in a way that feels clear, supportive, and approachable.
